James Stebbins, CPA
Managing Director
Prior to Bull Run Ventures, Jimmy spent 10 years in traditional public accounting, beginning with McPhillips, Roberts & Deans (MRD) and continuing with BDO upon the merger. He then formed Bull Run Ventures to focus on client advisory services, including financial strategy, business expansions, private equity deal evaluations, and securing capital.
Jimmy has served as the Interim CFO for multiple organizations, and continues to serve on an ongoing basis as the Fractional CFO for many more. He has significant experience securing capital, both from lenders and investors. He often works with companies during periods of expansion, helping to strengthen and design systems for periods of rapid growth, as the organizations climb to higher levels.
Sean Stebbins, CPA
Consultant
Sean is an experienced financial professional with over 15 years of experience working in both public accounting and with private companies. He holds a Bachelors degree in Commerce and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce. He has founded and led a successful real estate company, and is a licensed Broker in the Commonwealth of Virginia. His experience working with numerous successful companies as a consultant and advisor as well as starting one from scratch means he is well positioned to draw on his experience to help your organization grow.
Sumreena Malik
Research Assistant
Sumrena provides the back office support that allows Bull Run Ventures to effectively and efficiently accomplish our client’s goals. She is an expert at tackling one off research projects and compiling all the relevant information needed to answer unique questions.
